A wish for Chance

Please help Chance, systematically beaten for years, starved, kept in an old shed and then abandoned. Please go to www.boxerdogrescue.co.uk.
Because of his love for Nicky (founder of BDRNE, Boxer Dog Rescue Northern England).and against all the odds Chance lived his dream for 6 months before his body finally gave up.
During that time Chance became famous, and people as far away as Sussex, Essex and even Scotland went to a funday in Liverpool organised by BDRNE, just to meet him. Chance packed his whole being into those last 6 months - Nicky's love made him look forward to everyday and although devastated, she wouldn't change a single minute of their time together.
Chance is now at Rainbow Bridge sending those boxers' who need help to BDRNE - God Bless Chance pants.

Chance went to Rainbow Bridge on the 10th September 2008 - RIP

@acdcfannumba1 - just encourage people to get a dog from a rescue - that way the rescue can take in another dog and free up another space in a pound. The more spaces in a pound, the less pressure they're under to have the strays euthanised - thank you - xx

@acdcfannumba1 - we're trying to get the word out to people who give their dogs away in the free-ads, (like Gumtree etc.). People are giving their dog to, (what they think), is a new loving family home, and these dogs are being found dead - used as bait dogs!!!!! They only find out when authorities trace the dog's microchip details.

what sucks is that people mis take that boxers are just as mean as pit bulls. it gets me mad when people assume that about boxers. I have a beautiful boxer girl and i would die for her. boxers are just big cuddle bears and they will protect the ones they love <3. this video made me sad to think how people could do this to any dog =;(

I got my first boxer after my pitbull died. I loved her to bits and because the ban had come into force, I couldn't get another, so I looked up all her personality traits and found that the boxer was the closest - ok - more clumsy and funnier, but still the same personality. People make boxers', pitbulls and any other breed of dog mean :(

oh my god! just last year (2011) i took in a rescue boxer too, misty. she was beaten and starved too and locked in a shed. she was so thin it was scary. but shes getting on so well now and she's a healthy weight. her and my other dog ben are best buddies now :)

We got our boxer , Purdy, from a boxer rescue in Billingham, Teesside, many years ago, Im not sure if you are connected to them or not. She was amazing , my kids grew up with her and she looked after them until at 18 yrs old her body just gave out, but her mischievous twinkle in her eyes and playfull personality lasted right up untill the end. She died over 10 yrs ago and we still talk about her antics even now...mans best friend doesnt even come close to describing her

I have a boxer too and... I can't even IMAGINE how could someone have done something like this to Chance. I just... can't.

'Cause they're no human beings to me, no way. May them burn alive, that's all.

Now you're in peace, Chance... a big hug - through tears - to Nicky, who gave him the only days I'm sure he remembers

this video made me tear up and i had a boxer too untill me and my family got the bad news that he had cancer............today he lays in our back yard resting in peace..i miss him so much. oh and for those pepps that were talking crap go to hell
