Italy in the late seventies-early eighties produced some plenty darn catchy dance tracks, recasting the American clubby soul and concentrating on the beats, bass and keyboards. The Italian group Firefly was such a fine case. They incorporated a tight/right Chic-ish / Nile Rodgers style and served us the classic disco-funk "Love (Is Gonna Be On Your Side)" that hit #3 on U.S. Hot Disco chart in 1981. [On this track though the guitar is quite similar to Shalamar's "There It Is".]

On this edit I kept only the chorus leaving aside the verses, included a proper break in the middle and played with the echoes, the basslines, the guitars and the stop&go beats.
