I usually use an Smith and Wesson M&P 9L Pro series for these things, but decided to try out the Heckler and Koch HK45 for a change. More felt recoil, so it took more concious effort and added grip to keep the rounds on target. This gun also follows the 'cover the target with the sights' vs. the lollipop method that's on the m&p, so I was shooting low for the first stage until I adjusted. Excellent handgun though. The controls feel great, and the mag release forces you to use a canted reloading position which is technically more accurate anyway. The 10 round capacity is great too over a normal 1911's 8 rounds.
