i love sayce, don't get me wrong.... but when i went to see him play live there was just one thing missing. i mean theres no doubt that this guy can play guitar - and his voice is incredible. i think he just plays too much too often, after 2-3 songs i'm no longer impressed because its as if he's played me all he can play. he needs to learn when to play and when not to.

It isn't exactly a refinish. His strat was originally a sunburst yes, but the original owner ordered an olympic white strat, so Fender simply pulled a strat body which had already been sprayed burst and to save money...sprayed olympic white right over it.

That's actually what happened. It happened a lot back when Leo ran things. He was a penny pincher.

it's a 63' but it is a re-fin. was originally sunburst.

This is Philip's number one guitar called "Mother", I believe it's a 1963 original one he bought during he was on tour with Jeff Healey. He sounds the same great on any guitar tho. Beautiful song!!!
