Hippie legend Donovan & Demark's great singer and composer Sebastian performed together for the very first time in the small village Stabekk outside of Oslo, Norway, as the higlight of the yearly festival Et Årsverk in 2007.
In english Et Årsverk would meen something like: "Look what I've managed to do this year!" Creative people from politics, film, music, business, science, litterature from all over the world meet the locals in the intimate enviroment of the 100 years old cinemabuilding, where you can find exhibitions of painting, photo, sculpture - a friendly tavern with home cooked food and a combined film and concert hall.

The point wth this festival is to open new contacts between creative people from very different fields, and to be a cradle for new ideas and projects. Se the website www.etaarsverk.no

This particular meeting between the two giants of rock is one example. Donovan is one of the great innovators in the music from the 60ies, a friend of The Beatles and Rolling Stones who is still making great records - like the classics "Sutras" with members of Red Hot Chilli Peppers and produced by rap icon Rick Rubin, and "Beat Café" where he makes a totally original version of the welsh poet Dylan Thomas great poem "Do not go gentle into that black night".
Sebastian is the greatest Scandinavian composer since Grieg. In the 1970is he started as a folkrock singer with enormous impact for the young Danish generations. In the 80ies he started a collaboration with Astrid Lindgren which resulted in plays for the musical theatre like "Ronja" and "Pippi", and further masterpieces as Skatteøen, "The Treasure Island", "Cyrano", "The hunchback of Notre Dame" etc.
Oct 24. is the date when Sony Music releases Sebastian's first solo album for over a decade: "Øjeblikkets mester" ("Hero for a Day" )

We are proud to finally present this little footage from the historical concert. Welcome back, dear friends!
