QI XL - New Species and Honey Bees

"Where is the best place in the world to discover an entirely new species?" This question leads on to a quite interesting and I'd say hilarious dabate, on what you should do with a bee crawling on its last legs - kill it or kill it not (and rather save it), that is the question.

Because showing a bee a lot of honey is kind of like showing it what it could never achieve (or never achieved as much) in life, same goes with showing a mason something they never were able to fully finish (never finished). :P

I don't understand why they were saying showing the bee a large spoon of honey would be taunting it, or the tired mason and the cathedral...I'd think they'd be relieved, their work is done. Whereas if i were a tired mason and I was given a mound of bricks and a stack of blueprints I'd then I'd be crestfallen
