I've always thought with this movie, it had a good story but poor Choreography(Compared to Golden Harvest/Sammo)and Visa versa too i guess lol.
Same with most Shaw Bros flicks though i guess... Still good movies though.

Unfair to compare this to Sammo Hung. This is very early - 1972
That said, the film still has entertaining fight scenes, despite choreography
Some of the later Shaw Bros. stuff has great choreography, it improves a lot even as the budgets obviously fall. The choreography is very formalized though, and less wild than even some contemporary films (like the Prodigal Son, which came out in 1980, when the Shaw Bros still had several more years to go before abandoning film)
