Barack Obama has officially announced the increase of US forces by at least 30,000 in Afghanistan. He also indicated that there is no strong military without a strong domestic economy. Dick Cheney continues to talk crazy, as he works on his book.

Its Rups. Ok, I was talking about the wars and American foreign policy. I don't really think that speech had much to do with a one world government. How did you derive that from a speech on the Middle East?

climate meeting, You wouldn't catch Bush dead at any climate change conference. The people of America now have a voice and and a leader who shares the same concerns as everyday people. These are big problems and politics is a short term game. Obama can't be expected to solve these problems over night, but he is taking the steps for healthcare reform, and ending the war and most importantly reducing the budget deficit.

In the direction of positive change. Exit strategies are in place for both Iraq and Afganistan. The troop surge is a necessary measure and the only option for Obama.
