Harder in the studio? And you jam with portnoy/peart wannabes, what are you then..... Slow is not difficult, separating loudness from speed is, though..... This chick has no metronome feel what so ever, but who gives a rats ass, its "smoke a joint"-music so why even care about it..... pfff

As a drummer myself (Zebulon Pike) I absolutely agree. Playing slowly is very tricky. I've been into Earth for awhile now but, it's not something I can listen to very often. Have you heard the new Sunn O))) ? Their best yet.

As musicians get better they naturally try to go faster. (At least in rock, metal, punk) This isn't a compliment or an insult it's just an observation.
I am a bassist too and I play rather slow. While I'm not very good I played with this amazing drummer at one point who could not keep up because he was used to playing like 180bpm.

this music is designed for people that are willing/able to go beyond trend..boozers/poets/artists/d
rummers/parents to be..stand up, be counted. THIS IS LIFE. -
Your obviously an idiot

if somene consider this music must be deaf or dumb

i bet you could get that sound with a fender twin, tubescreamer/big muff, etc. I dig it too!
This sounds to me to be maybe about 40 bpm.
VERY difficult to play this slow live.
Only dumb amateurs think fast music is hard.
I have fired more drummers than I can remember.
They all say the same thing: "I can play like Neil Peart and Dream Theater so I can play ANYTHING" As soon as me (bass) and the guitarist get in the studio and start a slow groove like this they fall to pieces.
This is good challenging music. Few can appreciate this and even fewer can play it.

You don't have to like it for it to be music.
