  • if you are cooking in batches how do you store the left over batter? do you leave it at room temperature? if so how long can it last till you cook it? also have the same question for left over chocolate chip batter, anzac biscuits, short bread etc. thank you

  • @ace8064 I recommend storing the batter at room temperature when cooking in batches. However, if you make up this batter and cook some, but plan to use the rest another time, cover with plastic wrap and store in the fridge until needed. I recommend using the batter within a day of making it. This applies to all cookie batters / doughs ;)

  • Can I use self raising flour instead of plain flour?

  • @sitibeliebsxo Please disregard my previous reply (I just deleted it) as I misread your question. You can't use self-raising flour for this recipe, as the cookies will come out too cakey - you need to use plain flour ;)

  • Can you use a bit of oil besides the baking paper?-

  • @vilkas8 I recommend using baking paper, as it's the best way to stop the cookies from sticking to the tray. Oil doesn't always work as the cookies can absorb it ;)
