i prefer the 3rd game due to finding it easier to play, hence more fun. Id love to play the first one with the graphics of the 3rd.

@NecrosHun06 Aye, I agree. As a huge Thief fan, I enjoyed each one to their fullest extent. The first was great because it brought something completely new, the second was great because it gave us more of Thief, while the 3rd was great because it gave us GARRET! I loved the way I sneaked around and the fact that I could finally see his stealthy ways. The ending of the 3rd gave me goose bumps and I thought it was an extremely good ending for a trilogy. Dont be hipsters and hate on the new.

When people are bashing Thief 3 they are insulting the people who made the first two games. In case you didn't know, many of them worked on Thief 3 too. Thief 2 is my favourite, but I won't deny that Deadly Shadows is a worthy sequel and a great Thief game. Sure, the levels were smaller and I missed the rope arrows too, but other than issues with the technology, the game was just as good as the rest in the series.

A nonsensical villain, and writing that was as half-assed as the gameplay. So much work went into the first two games, and you can really tell. TDS? Meh...
