Hello Jacob, I want to buy some lucky bamboo, but the only place I've seen it is the pet store and they submerge the bamboo under the water so I know that the lucky bamboo will not last long. I looked up online and found some lucky bamboo. So what I'm asking is... Do you think it's alright to buy lucky bamboo online?

Just wondering, do you suggest growing them in water and pebbles or dirt??? I have nine lucky bamboos and they seem to do quite well in water and pebbles, but what do I know? :)

The plant will eventually rot in water. Planting it in soil insures that it will grow forever.
