This was the story for the Broncos the whole 1990 season, went 5-11 with SEVEN losses by five points or less. They had an epic fourth-quarter meltdown at Buffalo, this loss, an overtime loss to the Bears, had a tying field goal blocked on the final play against Oakland, and had a Hail-Mary touchdown catch called back by penalty on the last play of a game in Seattle. Meanwhile, the Browns ended up winning just one more game the entire season after this one.

This was 1990 if you listen to Al Michaels when he talks about the kicker he says Matt Bahr and this kicker started off in training camp and Bahr went on to the Giants and he got a ring against Buffalo eventually. nfl com/player/mattbahr/2499486/profile
