@Providential1611 The Church fathers who assembled the New Testament believed in transubstantiation and the veneration of Mary. That is a historical FACT. Your sect is a 16th century invention with no ties to ancient Christianity. Calvin was a known murderer who burned people at the stake. That is your master and the founder of your faith. I have refuted you at every turn and all you can say is "Nuh-uh". The Voice of the early church speaks loud and clear!
@Providential1611 Its not a lie, its divine. Also, learn the definition of Ad Hoc. There is nothing Ad Hoc about transubstantiation. Lastly, the 2nd century is not the middle ages. I wonder where the Ignatius of Antioch, who was the Student of the Apostle Peter learned about the true presence of Christ. Maybe from PETER himself!!. Give me just ONE good reason why I should take your word over somebody who learned from and was appointed Bishop by the Apostle Peter?
@AegeanKing That lie worked on theignorant and superstitious of the early church up through the illiterate Middle ages, but it doesn't work now. Because of Protestantism, all have access to the Word of God and science can prove this convenient little lie--that a miracle has taken place, a supposed physical one, but there is no physical proof. The idea that the bread is changed to flesh, with no actual change is BALONEY! Its an Ad Hoc excuse.
@Providential1611 LOL!!!! exactly my point!! Like I said, you dont understand transubstantiation. Read any catechism or even wiki. Transubstantiation CLEARLY states that the SPECIES stays the same to the senses. The Church fathers refute you. Your sect is an invention of the 16th century.
@AegeanKing No you have not refuted me. Lets take your bread and wine over to a lab and see if its human flesh and blood, shall we? That would sure end the debate right?
@Providential1611 The People who compiled the New Testament believed in transubstantion, ever virginity of Mary and the veneration of Mary. That is a historical FACT. Your sect is an invention of the 16th century.
@Providential1611 I have clearly refuted you on the eucharist. The men who walked and talked with the Apostles and who were appointed by the Apostles know better than you about the true teaching of the Eucharist. Either you are lying about being Catholic or you are just ignorant of transubstantiation. Secondly, If Apostolic succesion is a myth, why did the Apostles establish episcopacy that remain unbroken until today in the 5 ancient Patriarchates?
@Providential1611 As for the liturgy of St James? Well anyone can CLAIM it was his liturgy, but since it was concocted long after he died, it wasn't his. We are the true christians--those born again Charismatics. Rome and Constantinople are apostasies from Evangelical truth. We go back 2000 years. We are the successors of the Apostles, not you. Our doctrine and lives line up with theirs, yours do not.
@AegeanKing I made a video responding to your comments to me. I hope this helps Type this in search and it should come up:
