Working our way through the lists, we come to the Women's side of things. This year, the Joshi world continued to regain some of its luster from the 1990s, while SHIMMER continued to glow brighter and brighter throughout the year. As with the previous list(and each of the other year end lists), this one covers predominantly both Japan and the United States. This video came into the rotation last year, and became quite popular, and hopefully that repeats itself this year. Again, this isn't for the most dangerous finishers(though there are a few on here that could make such a list), and covers moves that resulted in title wins, tournament wins, or just big wins overall. Also unlike the previous vid, this has a bit more of a focus on some headdropping goodness, though there are a few moves that don't fit in that category, including a Suplex, DDT, and a couple of nice strikes. As with the previous video, there's a move here that next year, we won't see used by the same wrestler again. You're likely to recognize quite a few of these moves if you follow modern women's wrestling even remotely.

Thanks once again to www.chickfight.tv for a couple of clips used here. As always, they're a great source for great women's wrestling.

  • nice video

  • Kudo Driver. Bloody dangerous if not the most bloody dangerous version of a piledriver. Arms, shoulder parts, neck, and spine all busted out big time. Also called the vertebreaker. Most wrestling promotions have banned this move.

  • I am very disappointed we didn't hear DESTINY HAMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

  • @WrestlingPhenome800 "Proper original name", haha. Megumi Kudo was performing the Kudome Valentine long before anyone called it a "Vertenreaker."

  • @RSNCICREO Actually the the proper original name for the Kudo Driver is Vertebreaker and thats a move where the back the head and neck hit the mat. the Widows Peak is where the head and neck hit the shoulder. not sure what the proper term for the move is though

  • 1:44 is Sick!

  • @RSNCICREO no it is not u apparently have not seen the widows peak

  • @RSNCICREO What? Widow's peak = neck and head hit a shoulder. Valentine = neck and head hit the mat.

  • @OptimusPrimeribs all Widow's Peak is a Kudo driver [ kudome valentine]

  • Now I gotta try 'em on the girlfriend!
