There is never a best ever there is only a best right now and that would be kobe MJ was the best all throughout the late 80's and 90's and then kobe came along and became the best and does anybody not know how good of a team jordan had around him all his championship years you give lebron a guy like pippen on the cavs and he would have 3 championships by now

Kobe is no.2 wing player in NBA history. Thats the truth. Kobe is not yet the 2nd great player in NBA history. Wing players like MJ or Kobe is a trend after late Jordan's era. But before that, the NBA had much more styles. You just cant say yes only outside players like MJ or Kobe, use offense as primary weapon to win the game, are the best players. You got to see what they done.

Celtics before 2008 was not strong team. Pistons was a great team, yes, for 2 years.

Thos number says something, but still Kobe choke in 2004 and 2008. And in his early career, he had shaq and the estern teams were soooo weak, they had no chance to defeat western champ. And the best yr for lakers those yrs, everyone knows shaq is the reason why lakers is unbeatable.
