Cat running fast on his cat wheel

My Bengal cat, Hobbes, running fast on his new cat exercise wheel. Notice how he streamlines his ears and tail.

Maybe I should hook the wheel up to a generator or something...?

The wheel did come with a clear plastic cover that you can put over the back to make it impossible for a cat to fall off between the spokes. But there's really no need for it in most situations.

No, it's not dangerous...most cats are very athletic and well-coordinated. He knows where every spoke is at it passes by his whiskers (he likes for rub against them, at slower speeds). Sometimes when he runs very fast the wheel starts to shake, and then he will just make a quick exit by jumping off.
