ok thanks i'll check out the book, i'm just very skeptical and cynical when it comes to the western media and the way they report the world's events, i remember at the time it being so one sided and my father saying it was much more complex than the news suggested, there realy are no badies and goodies, not in terms of nations and conflict, certainly individuals are can be bad and co-orperations(bankers lol)but i can't help that see the serbs are taking all the blame, given history it's not fair

You r not a Serb .OK .From what i see you dont have a clue about Balkan history. I love history too and I hate hardcore nationalists regardeless of their flag . I can suggest you a book from Edith Durham Burden of the Balkans it a very realistic book striped of glorification and crap like that . This documentary is a pure propaganda its purpose was to justify the killings of thousands of civillians , genocide ,ethnic cleanings,BBC got some good war doc ,This is all crap

Prema ovome ispada da su se Hrvati i Slovenci odcijepili jer im se sprdnulo, a nitko ne spominje kako je Milošević koristio nacionalističku retoriku i dizao tenzije, kako je sredio ukinuće autonomije Kosovu i Vojvodini itd. Hrvatska i Slovenija nisu se proizvoljno odcijepile već su iskoristile svoje Ustavom iz 1974. godine zajamčeno pravo na autonomiju. Šta ova baba priča o tome kako JNA nije bila okupatorska? Ona to svakako nije trebala biti, ali je tako završila
