V-log #1
First video blog: Intro and skit

First, sorry that the volume is weak and for the long awkward pauses that probably came from watching the BBC television series, the OFFICE. Or it more likely came from watching THIRD WORLD FILMS. :-)

I personally think every pause is funny.

Think about this quote from THE CORRECTIONS by Jonathan Franzen:
Chip tries to explain to his girlfriend as she's leaving him: "My idea was to have this 'hump' that the moviegoer has to get over. Putting something offputting at the beginning, it's a classic modernist strategy. There's a lot of rich suspense toward the end."

The question this video asks:
#1: Is there hope? Where is hope found?

#2: What suspense? The movie just ends!

  • Hi joseph!

"here's a ruler stick... not very interesting huh?" haha that was random =P

  • That's actually my favorite "funny" part of the video: I feel like it's a comment on my own video. It's silly but it always cracks me up...

  • Awesome, Joe... really interesting stuff... kind of reminds me of Happy Slip where you play a different character, but I guess that's only because I saw her do that first... anyway... keep it up!

  • HappySlip is very funny though. :)
