evans g2s all the way and put the front resenance skin back on the front of ure kick. you dont need it off for recording if your against a wall. just put the mic to the side of the gap between the kick and the wall

nice.. im not a good drummer but this is my point of view.. if ur bass followed the original song, it will be nicer. but i like the way u added some fill ins to the song.. nice intro to the chorus.. rock on man!
