@davidjjdj No it isn't zooming, but yes Freetrack will support this motion even with a 2 point system--a 3 point system will still have the most accurate tracking. The forward/backward motion is produced simple by moving your head closer to your webcam--like I said before, think of Freetrack 6-degrees of freedom as being able to reproduce any movement you do with your head.. so if you move your head forward, toward the screen, your view will pan forward.

@bushpilot223 not like zooming but in some videos i see the camera move forward. more into the cockpit can it do that? or is that basically zooming?
-
@davidjjdj Free track supports up to 6 degrees of freedom, so basically any 3D movement you can do with your head. This doesn't include "zooming" but this can be done simply by pressing + and - on your keyboard... To get full 3D movement you must have a 3 point system. This video demonstrates a single-point system, 2 degrees of freedom.

@bushpilot223 i have watched videos of track ir and i am VERY interested in zooming in and head tilt can freetrack support this?
-
@ellonysman I have another video where I use a 3 point system. Check it out on my profile.
-
@ellonysman Three is best because it gives you the most freedom. One point would only be like up, down, left right, in 2 dimensions. 3 points is full 3 dimensional freedom.

Do you know if the one, two or three diode set up is better? Something else I wanted to ask...hmmmm what the heck was it now...something simple...doh! Rick/vancouver

The laggy-ness isn't his PC , its because of the webcam picking up the lights so crappy
Wait a minute...you used JUST a single small flashlite with the software and webcam? Did you use that combo for this video?

@ellonysman Yep that's all I used for THIS video. I have another video on my channel where I used a 3 point system, check that one out. It is much better with a 3 point system.
