He's definitely a talented vocalist and has grown as a songwriter but that first single 'Wake Me Up' was awful, and created some of the worst fashion trends of the 80s. Nice to see him write some more complex and interesting material for his solo record. I remember being a teen when Wham became huge and thinking that all the kids who were sporting the Choose Life shirts and the neon colors were going regret it at some time in near future. Just super cheesy...
