Blood and Pixels- Part I

Part one of my final film from Sight and Sound Documentary. It took me a long time to figure out what to do until a friend told me, "Just do a doc on something you're passionate about." So I was like, hey, I really like violent video games. I wanted to make a film that explored both sides of the issue, but I also had a lot of fun, so it's a bit goofy.

I grew up on Doom and Duke Nukem....but I have never hurt and or killed anybody.

Its fiction....in the real world, there are consequences.

There is a common misconception that video games themselves create violent impulses within players. If this were true, every person who has ever played a violent video game who be violent. Since we all know this isn't true, the argument closes.
