Wet snow avalanche.
When we arrived at a edge of Tenguhara and overlooked a cirque located below Mt. Minamidake, there were two ski traces wiped out by an avalanche. We saw two skiers going down a valley. The avalanche had seemed to have happened before several minutes. The snow was so loose. Fortunately wet snow on a crust was thin so it was not danger. I descended first. Nothing was happened. The snow was so creamy and I was happy. The second guy caused a sluff but he was not swept by it. The third and fourth guys are optimistic. They ignored my advice and selected a steeper slope. The third guy Kur cleverly caused a small sluff to make a safe face and descended on an uncovered crust. When he stopped on the slope, the fourth guy Seij started to descend. He caused a sluff so that it attacked to Kur. Kur swept by it and buried. However Seij found that Kur was not buried completely then he caused the second big sluff. It almost attacked Kur. He was lucky to survive because a bank made by debris burying himself changed the direction of the avalanche flow.
They better hope to hell they don't trigger a slab on that slope.
