Abandoned dog outside my house for a week paceing and waiting.

would of been more humane if owner put a bullet in its head...I feel sorry for those who also had to suffer watching the dog for the week....I JUST don't get people sometimes ...at LEAST YOU KNOW YOU TRIED TO HELP HIM sooo SAD probably was old and they didn't wanna care for him any more...JUST THROW THEM AWAY....: *(

and you just filmed it? why would you film a dog freezing for a week, why didnt you just get the dog and bring it into your home!? wow man =( dogs have feelings to, i see it as a little kid walking around looking for his mother.

It's very clear from watching this that the dog is confused and looking for its people. It breaks my heart. Who the hell would abandon their dog like this?

Reno lived quite happily outside to --35C every winter in Yellowknife until 3 years ago. In fact he did't like being inside for long if it was above 60F. Looking at this abandoned dog's body language I don't see any "cold" cues in the way he struts around and I doubt the temperature is more than -10 to -15 (still above zero F) based on the type of snow falling and car exhaust/windshield frost etc.

Thanks klawson,these folks dont understand.The dog was blind and deaf,thats why he bolted and never ate any of the food I put where he was laying or crawled up in the warm sleeping bag I put close by,I stayed out in the cold all night for 4 days in my canada goose jacket trying to get him safe.

Do something? I took a sleeping bag out at 3am at -30,spread food and water around and opened my garage door so he would have a warm place to sleep as did all my nieghbors,this dog was not approachable,anyone got close and it bolted,animal services and the rcmp tried for 4 days to catch him before he got hit by a car. you may have noticed that theres no close ups.
