@FLT111 Actually the show wasn't HD at that point. The producers made up a stupid excuse about not being able to use old photos because the show was now wide screen. It was stupid because Home and Away for instance, had been using pre-wide screen footage within their episodes all the time for stock shots and flashback sequences. In reality the Neighbours producers obviously just couldn't be bothered which is a real shame.

What would have been better is if they had images of Madge showing during the piano music.

This was an extremely sad day for fans of the show. I remember sitting and watching this when it aired on the BBC and my mum burst into tears when this music played at the end.
Shame that here in the UK they couldn't manage to show these credits in full. Luckily this was on the Defining Moments DVD and I have a recording of the Australian showing

Wow I can't believe they had a specific closing song for that episode!! So sad, well Madge was a major character from the start so they had to have it.
