  • U were really high

  • nice landing!, was it ILS?

  • For anyone who says that he landed high, he didn't. He didn't because the actual approach is a non-precision approach, which means you can't judge the angle of your descent. Also, there is a car park which is about 200 ft from the runway, and the aircraft fly about 20 ft over it. The terrain is the same - along with the surrounding community. This means that approximately 1810 ft of the runway is unavailable to land on. I learnt this off "Most Extreme Airports" (NO. 10) on the History Channel.

  • You Did Not Land Late It Was Perfect

  • He wasn't high, he wasn't fast.

San Diego has a 3.5* approach angle (as opposed to a "standard" approach angle of 3.0*) due to the Laural Travel building at the appraoch end of 27.

  • u didnt land late is just u were going too fast you landed great:)

  • What a bunch of trolls. I'm doing my last year in my course of aviation. "He flared too much'' or'' you came in a bit high". Well I got news for you being a pilot means youre not only piloting the plane but its up to you whether or not everyone on board is gonna live. You have to make your own decisions and by doing so, this guy determined that the runway is long enough so he could have a delayed touch down. He also came in high and made up for it by setting full flaps+trim+speed. its a sim!!

  • you flared to much

  • i think your a bit too high for approach?

  • 200 knots approach speed? That must have been a HEAVY plane
