The intro is so overcharted

Exactly, man. If you listen to the original recording, there are definitely WAAY more notes being played than most bassists play. It's charted out in Rock Band, but I don't think even all the way. I think the run-down is 16 sixteenth notes in the G scale. I'm trying to get a bass cover of this actually, but it's freakin' crazy! I don't know how long it'll be, but I've got dissect this song and work on it in parts, because it's too crazy for me right now.

man this song made me wanna take up bass and i just started
like i love the bass line on this

If you've seen them live and know the song, surely you've heard that he plays it much simpler live.

Okay but I play bass and I know, I've seen Deep Purple live and I know. You start on the G at the 10th fret on the A string, then move an octave up, and then there is a quick little run down back to the first note, on this version there are about 10x more notes in the run down then there really are; the actual version is much simpler. I like Rock Band and I like the song, I noticed a problem and made a quick comment about it. Why does that make me have an unfulfilling life?

Put it on slow on practice and listen. It is not.

You can get a 100% without getting an fc, like if you just hit the strum bar in an empty section but still hit all the notes.
-
no bass careers and nice job dude...i cant FC the intro =[
-
are there bass careers or only guitar?
-
thanks, I only have an expolorer, so I could only play the guitar and the bass in one player mode lol
You have a very unfulfilling life.
