My guinea pig, Ginger. She passed away February 2009. This was when she was about three or four years old. She had quite the spirit. @artVision913 she bit me a few times, but it never drew blood. They like to nibble on things, so sometimes it happens. But it's not painful at all.

I got her at PetSmart actually for about $25. And they aren't scary to hold, I promise. :)

hey now i had a guinea pig that looked like yours and i named her ginger lol wow small world but sadly she died summer 09 i love her and miss her !!!!!!

awww cute i just got a guinea pig yesterday lol my mom came with a bag of mcdonalds.. i opened it and it turned out it was a guinea pig i had wanted one for my birthday but got it early anyways shes 3 months old and is soooo nice she licks alot and purrs alot to lol shes such a cutie but i was suprsied that she was that friendly i thought she was going to run away alot but she doesnt hheehe she has white hairs on top of her ehad that look like devil horns so i named her lucy XD

@artVision913 usually no, but they do tend to nibble on you. i got one case where she kept ripping in the towel, and then because i didnt react nibbled me in the ear... not hard just enough for attention.
