Probably because it is a thousand year old Celtic melody that was intended exactly for that purpose ! :-) The beginning part and the ending are both traditional Irish tunes.

God I love how many breaks this song has. Spirit is definitely their best album so far imo, at least until Everything Remains As It Never Was is released next year!
