Here is the ACTUAL exchange:
BBC: Do you agree that from 1995 to the present, there has been no statstically-significant global warming"
Jones: Yes, but only just. I also calculated the trend for the period 1995-2009. This trend (0.12 per decade) is positive, but not significant at the 95% significance level. The positive trend is quite close to the significance level...

The echo chamber is alive and well and currently bouncing Phil Jones' bastardized quote all over the global media. Recap - Phil Jones speaks to the BBC about climate change.
The Daily Mail selects part of his response, stripping it of its context and using that selection to argue that Prof. Jones is backtracking on the likelihood of global warming.
Then every half-wit, oil company shill and agenda-driven journalist in the world picks up the Mail's manipulation and uses it as if it's real...

You want Shinimegami86 to "Do some research"
Have you?
Did you know Senator Inhofe gets more money from the oil and gas industry then anyone in the Senate?
Have you researched Ocean Acidification? Have you even heard of it?
I'm sure you haven't really looked into the IPCC to find out who they are, and what they have said.
Our media is great at taking things out of context, and not reporting the whole truth on what someone said. Phil Jones is an example

James has not been "utterly vindicated" as Lou says.
Global Warming / Climate change is real, and it is very serious.
One thing that any doubter can look into quickly is the acidification of our Ocean from CO2 increases.
There is a new film out called "A Sea Change" which proves how serious it is.
If we look into where Senator James Inhofe gets most of his money, it is easy to explain why he is the champion of the deniers in the Senate.

You might try taking a look at the science. A good source is right here on YouTube, by Potholer54. He has a series on climate change, and addresses the 'scandal' in #s 6,7, 8 and 8a. They are well done, scientific, and neutral examinations of what is going on.
And may I say, Lou Dobbs is no scientist.
You do realise that the science hasn't changed, just the public opinion polls.

@ML Binwa, I have not relied on the comment by Phil Jones to BBC. I have been looking at the data for 18 months now and done a lot of research (about 80 academics). Climategate adds no technical understanding, it simply helps explain why extreme views are held. You mentioned acidification - check out Craig Idso's book. Read the EPW report on Climategate, I have. Unequivocal - Consensus - No way! Get real.
