Sanchita Farruque Cargo 2010 - Free Falling.avi

The first song - Free Falling - from Sanchita Farruque's (Nitin Sawhney, Trilok Gurtu) launch gig @Cargo, yesterday (21st July 2010).

The whole night was a resounding success with a great turn out, a mad Mauritian guitarist who decided to trash the stage and play like he thought he was still in his 20s, Brazilian rhythm section (Eduardo Dudu Marques & Matheus Nova) and beautiful keyboard harmonies and cello melodies (Mederic Bourgue) from France, Bvs from the keyboard player (Celia Reggiani) and the very same Mauritian guitarist (Eric Appapoulay) and that's not counting the other 2 girls on backing vocals (judy Obeya & Nicola Bennett) giving us 4 part harmonies in some songs. Saleel Tambe played tabla, Karlos Edwards on percussion and my good pal, Dominic Shovelton returned to double up on guitar on three songs. Swati Natekar featured on Simple Things - an absolute magic moment for all concerned! Watch this space for more clips :)
