This little plastic cones fit over the joint between the dart barrel and the point to form a smoother more curved profile. They help to lessen deflections of the darts and considerably extend the life of the flights.

  • Any chance of a video of how to sharpen your darts with various different sharpeners Bear ?

  • @IIxMURPHYxII - to be honest mate I never sharpen my darts. All i do is get a bit of emery cloth and spin the points in it. That roughs yup the sides of the points a tiny bit and they hang on to the board like a bugger - try it :D

  • do you still use them ?

  • personally - no, but I know a lot of people who do..... I am not that precious about flights though - I dont mind playing with one of the flight blades hanging off... lol

  • Its easy to make me miss the 20 - just say game on!

  • @double16dotcom hello great reviews. I was wanting a new set of darts (because I've use the set that come with my bored and there crap TBH) set of darts do u recommend for a beginner of the game ???

  • @double16dotcom do they fit gripper points? thx in advance :)

  • I noticed today that Martin Phillips was using these during the world championships at the Lakeside .... just thought I'd mention it.

    Thanks for the reviews Neil

I placed an order to Red Dragon yesterday on the strength of them (admittedly I went for the silver version of the Dragonflys though :)

  • Thats some serious grouping!!! Whats your round about 3 dart average???

  • i still use these, I break flights so quickly. With the trident 180s fitted they last 5 times as long

  • @double16dotcom I'm quite the opposite. At the first sight of a damaged flight i soon change it for a new one. I use these tridents and flight protectors to try and save my flights and at £20 for 12 custom sets from red dragon it can get a bit expensive after a while.
