  • Nothing makes the hairs on my neck stand up and my skin crawl than those airhorn balsts at a fire. By far the scariest sound ever when your inside.

  • Nice our dept do 3 long ones with Multiple engines

  • @nhfdcadet are you new hartford ny? down in westchester ny we do 5 longs blasts from the rigs the town sirens go off and then the IC goes over all freq. and the pa to evac stat.

  • In my dept we have Rescue 1 hold the air horn for 10 consecutive seconds. I noticed the PASS device sounding after, a growing problem with that is that most of the time when you hear that its just someone leaning up against the truck that forgets to move their hips when the warning goes off, its causing it to be a car alarm syndrome because no one pays it the respect it needs. Stay safe out there.

  • in new hartford we do 3 long blasts of the airhorn and call evac over the radio, gets too confusing when a bunch of trucks do it at the same time tho

  • in most cases buildings get evacuated due to imite building colapse risk

  • Why was there an evacuation?

  • it isnt lol i just moved from wallington -_-

  • lol

  • how come when i move i miss all the action!!!
