I have studied both sides of the argument and go with what makes sense. The Bible has been interpreted many times and if you take everything it says literally, you may as well take fairy tales literally as well.

@TheMasamune444 I believe in complacency which allows people to make up excuses for not changing their behavior. People dying of cancer do the same thing. "Sure you can adapt to a brain tumor! Why not?" It's basically the same thing. It's essentially positive thinking your way into your own grave. Ostriches do it when they stick their heads in the sand. People do it when they claim that they'll 'adapt' to human cancers like global warming and overpopulation. Really the two probs. go hand in hand

I do believe that as far as some changes and humans changing to adapt I do believe.

It's been proven that if you were to take every human being on this planet and brought them all together, we could fit them all in the state of Texas with 1,000 sq feet of living space for each person.
