also ich weiß nicht... zumindestens ins Bayern haben seit 2009 alle neuen Fahrzeuge LED Lichter und die RD-Fahrzeuge seit 2010. Bei den Polizeifahrzeugen war Bayern übrigends die erste Landespolizei die flächendeckend LEDs eingesetzt hat...

Bei den Feuerwehren ist es wie in jedem anderen Bundesland auch, da entscheidet jeder selber. Aber der Anteil ist stark gewachsen. Nürnberg ist da natürlich ein Vorreiter

@Rummeltobi also 2009 hatten schon recht viele NEF in Bayern entweder Weitblitzer im Balken, oder eben Dashlights. Selbst viele ältere Modell wurden noch mit Dachlights ausgerüstet

@Lilletulling The lightning of german emergency vehicles don't really changed.. The EMS has LED's now but the police and many new fire dept. vehicles are still using the older lights.. Our lightning is still bad..

@Lilletulling by now there arte actually quite many emergency vehicles with proper LED lighting (lightbars, grill lights, dash lights, intersection lights, headlight flashers, corner strobes and so on)

First time I've seen a german emergency vehicle with proper lighting. The lightbar still sux though. Big, ugly and bad. Nice car.

@Zildjian285 yeah it really isn't that nice, a quite old one. The reason hwy it is so big: there are 2 message boards, the 3rd forward facing high effective strobe light (more than 2000 candela luminous intensity) and also the speaker from the electronic siren.

On new vehicles you won't find this lightbar any more, rather the newer versions like the Hella RTK7, the Pintsch Bamag TOPas or the Hänsch DBS 4000
