VT used to be in the Big East with Miami, until 2005 I believe. That is why the Big East went down hill fast.

My favorite football game of all-time. Saw FSU's best season culminate & Michael Vick nearly beat them by himself. Unbelievable game. People forget, Vick had them in the lead in the 2nd half before Warrick & the Noles went crazy.
I'll say it again, my favorite game EVER! Peter Warrick, Chris Weinke & Michael Vick gave me 8 or 9 moments int hat game where I SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS. Thank you.
