You can also play gamecube games on the wii, but you need to have gamecube controllers also.

@Funkiichink It IS popular; very much so. It's the most well known Tales game in the West, and is the only game in the series to sell a million copies worldwide, specifically because of Western sales.

I'm amazed Namco hasn't been able to replicate that success.
