@IronicalSmirk and this is what makes abusive people so insideous. It is difficult to find your thoughts around such people, b/c they are unable to exchange thoughts at any level but their own. So nothing is worked out, there are only winners and losers.
Hyperrational people invariably lack humor and the type of creativity that is based on the sheer love of it.
They are at the mercy of subconscious compulsions where if not themselves, it is others paying dearly in dues.

Look at Limbaugh (face like the back end of an elephant) has dragged everything down.
It is the speed + aggression that make it SEEM like 'rational' but it is the cruelty most humans LACK that makes this type of cretan appear as having conquest.
Hardly admirable.

1~ define what is rational vs irrational. Hard to do, so this needs specific values to judge.
2~ (so keen of you)..hyperrational is what you can get if one doesn't have the "tedium" that goes with weighing human factors. So in this regard you might say hyperdevelopment of One Side at the expense of those who weigh Two Sides.

My first wife was always mentally abusive toward me bt at the end 1-2 years of the marriage, she was physically abusive. My mother taught me never to hit a woman and I didn't but now I understand that it is unacceptable for a woman to hit a man. I no longer have that attitude. I have made it clear, to any girl friend and now my wife. If you EVER hit me, I will destroy you, just as I would a man. No one hits me anymore and doesn't pay some kind of price. I don't approve of anyone ANYONE male or female who hit the person they are supposed to protect the most. And lets not pick and choose what we want to hear and stick to FACTS.
