@cynrod100 Good Post. You are definitely on point for stating the "Blackbyrds/Donald Byrd" influence/vibe on this track. Instead of people coming on here and deciphering the art...the artist...there are "some" who cant "refrain" from posting their "madness!" SAD TO SAY BUT "WHERE ARE THEY GOING!" Peace!

this tune makes you ask yourself where in the cluck is this world going. The bible divines us as sheep basically we fellowers you offten see the domino effect happen where one man does something and 20ty others fellow you just have to keep it oldschool and dont belive the hype or here say when you see it happen infront of you then you know it's true besides faith and hope

I miss real music. I can only hope John Legend, Aloe Blacc, etc. can keep moving in this direction.
Best to ever pick up a mic. No one ever sang so well so effortlessly.

you should add an S to Marvin, that would make it MARVINS GAYE, which he is, and SO AM I... I LOVE DICK!
Let the truth be told, Marvin was a visionary of today with this song. Seeing as how we are still trying to find out where we are going, even with an African American President. This country still can't seem to stop young African American men from murdering each other by the thousands. Hunger and poverty is still at its best. But one thing is for sure we got some things right over the years. What if we try and get it right before we self-destruct, there is no other way to do it. Thanks
