these are the bravest souls i have ever seen, gods speed.

I wish you had included some of the submarines of the early 20th Century, like Schweiger's U-20, and like the Japanese # 6 which sank in a trial before the war. But I am glad you included C.S.S. Hunley.

Another great job Snakes. My only complaint is that the Russian sub Kursk was not actually a ballistic missile sub (SSBM), but it was an attack sub equipped to carry cruise missiles.
There's a story about the only survivor from HMS Vandal, the only reason he survived was that he became sick the day of Vandal's final voyage. For 60 years he blamed himself for the disaster because one of his jobs was making sure the aft hatch was secured prior to diving, and his replacement was inexperenced. It wasn't until the wreck was located, that he was finally releaved of all that guilt because the expedition found the aft hatch securley closed

It takes a special breed of person to be able to live that life. I know I could not do it.
Very brave people. For sure.
Good video as always =)

There's a saying, in war once the bullets start flying ideology and causes are forgotten, and what matters the most to those at the front is the person next to them.
It takes a special breed of person to live the hard lives soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines have to live, and an even more elite person to lead them into combat
