This car NOT a genuine Bentley Speed Six. It is a very well executed Rolls Royce special made to look like a speed six. It may be a 'Petersen Speed Six' but that is just a name. 'Petersen Tuna Sandwich' is also a name!

Considering you could buy a genuine vintage 3 litre Bentley for the same kind of money I would do that - or buy one of the replicas that was actually built on a Bentley (Mk6/R-type) chassis. A least then you would have a car that was recognised by the BDC.

All you guys so worried that this is not a genuine WO Bentley; well they were frigging around with Bentley from the start, and continue to do so. There are hardly any original WO cars left. And all Bentleys made by RR are just modified Rolls. So when Petersen builds a replica using all RR parts, people get upset. Why? OK, it's not a genuine Speed 6, perhaps the word replica should be added. Buts it's a wonderful car, and in another 50 years will be regarded as a real Bentley.

its very handsome and it may well be better than a bentley speed six.. but the fact remains that as this video is entitled bentley speed six, it is a total misrepresentation and in my view less than honest. but it would have been just as nice as a rolls royce anyway, so why did they bother?

This car yes is a replica, but Peterson's are still worth the money and RUN like money. Fabulous car to own and drive. Dont be a weener. Its a great car.
