Just a perspective: A lightyear is how far light will travel in one year...our "known" universe is 30-billion Lightyears across yet our solar system is only 4.6 billion years old...traveling at the speed of light the "event" of our existence has only traveled out a distance of 4.6-billion lightyears. Do we truly "exist" at all? The answer: Yes and No. The point: There is no such thing as "something" but there is equally no such thing as "nothing". We "exist" before life, we will "exist" after.
