I completely agree with you here, just had one tonight. It's really sitting on the boundary of being undrinkable, I had to force one down. About halfway through it I got some flavor, mostly cinnamon for me. But you're right fake tasting and just plain bad.

I also tried several of these back in October. Southern Tier Pumpking was one of my favorites at the time.
