I wish they still wrote songs like this! And I love the way these old songs sound when playing on an old record player. Granted, the sound wasn't as crystal "clear" as today...but there is something amazingly nostalgic and absolutely beautiful about it! Lady Gaga and all these other new stars have nothing on this! It is also a fantastic movie that I will never get tired of watching. See...a movie can be GREAT even without showing so much sex and vulgarity. (the pics do change too quick though!)

Oh how I love those OLD FLAME war time love songs and I was born in 1951! Nobody could beat Billy Holiday singing this. I have the movie THE NOTE BOOK and for anyone who hasn't seen that movie I would highly recommend renting it, ordering it on your cable or satelit network or buying it as it iso good all the way through; no wonder it was spoken so highly of by the critics when it first hit the big screen.
