CNN: After Mass Shootings, Should We Profile White Men?

I appeared on CNN to discuss my recent Salon.com article looking at how America's reaction to mass shootings is shaped by the fact that most of the shooters are white men. Had they been from another demographic, we would likely face calls for racial profiling. But that isn't the case when the demographic in question is white men. Why with only 30% of the population being white men are 70% of the mass shootings being perpetrated by white men? Read the Salon piece here:

The natives warred with each other as viciously as we warred with them. The African empires enslaved their own people to sell to the Europeans. Africa is a hell hole of corruption and crime today.

In my comment I was referring to the modern disparity in crime rates between black males and every other group. Black males commit a very disproportionate amount of violent crime for their population size. This is not due strictly to poverty. Poor whites and Asians do not commit this much crime.

One gene called MAOA has been shown by scientists to be strongly correlated with violence and aggressive behavior. According to a study published by Comprehensive Psychiatry, 34.6% of whites and 53.4% of blacks have 2-repeat allele or less. Smallpox and those other diseases did NOT originate in Europe. Smallpox is thought to have originated either in India or Egypt. Same for others. They actually came into the European continent very late. These diseases did not only exist in Europe, but in other continents.

Second, unintentionally bringing a disease doesn't constitute genocide. And yes, it's documented that blacks brought the disease into America.

Funny cause my history book says that died from smallpox, measles, tuberculosis, etc. All originating in the continent of Europe. We should know because it was these same diseases that killed our own people and we just took it to the other part of the world. Yes, this happens to be real history.
