I was section 93 (about 100 feet to the right of the cameraman) and it was out of control! When the sun peaked through, and the rainbow came out during the 1st solo....we went absolutely crazy! The most perfect union of music and nature I've ever experienced.

This was my 31st show, and hands down the most energetic crowd I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of.

So happy they're back.......

@quadleaf95 i don't know about all that you have a right to think pearl jam is better but to say phish is a new England band or a Colorado band i have to take exception to two of the most beloved venues they play happen to be in the Midwest deer creek and alpine valley

@LJPpro 1994 for me and yes they are a great band but they don't have a fan base outside of Vermont, Mass, New Hampshire or Colorado, I like Phish, you got me, but no Pearl Jam fan ever annoyed the fuck outta me like those trust fund hippies who just want to fit in, great music but sorry I belong to Pearl Jam

@quadleaf95 nah my bad man. If you think Pearl Jam is better that's all good. Pearl Jam used to be my favorite band for a while and even now I respect that they have a unique sound. I just think that technically, Phish is light years ahead.

As far as how I got into Phish, your way off though. I first got into Phish around 2000 and a lot of people around me listened to it so I was exposed to it. I've only seen them once at Fenway and don't claim to be a huge fan anyway.

@wholewheatbagel sorry I disagree, Phish is not on the level with the greats of rock n roll, YES, I acknowledge they are a great jam band but Phish fans need to broaden their horizons and listen to blues, punk, metal, rock,ect. not just the Dead and jazz fusion
