    No, the uploader has uploaded a copyrighted video (or song?), the ads have been added by the label or band so they can have money.

    In another account of mine I have some movie clips and instrumental music video and they have ads (they told me that they wouldn't bring them down because they wanted to add the ads) and I don't take any money from youtube.

    I don't think you know how it all works, the money from the ads go to the uploader and the uploader of this video is a random guy, not the band ;)
