you could have been killed by the church if you went against its false teachings,which they did many were burned alive,strangled beheaded by the church.Now after a break from the main part of false Christendom we have thousands of different religions and sects in Christendom, each with its clergy, yet each conflicting with the others in some aspect of doctrine or practice.
