I can't wait for water to be purified like aquafina, bottled water does not need to be cleaned really at all there is no government requirments. I also see the moron that installed the RO system under the sink doesn't know what he is doing. The large holding tank should not be on its side or else the air bladder will dry rot. I swear the people making videos about home repairs on you tube are useless.

The reject water does go to the drain. There is very minimal expense as water is sold by the 1000 gallons. RO water is free from pollution. Softeners do not give this protection at all. The Hague RO filters to 5/1000 of a micron. Fantastic!! An RO protects your family from chemical injestion. It is important to cook, make ice, coffee, tea, and all consumption with pure, chemical free water.

ROs have higher rejection than resin-type softeners (i.e. the resin way is much more efficient); what happens to the reject water? Does it get used in other places like toilets etc. or does it go to drain?
